Grant Research and Writing Intern duties and responsibilities

  • As the Grant Research and Writing Intern, you will conduct research and vet potential corporate, foundation and individual funders for FarmSahel.

  • You will assist in the organization of the grant database, calendar, and draft grant proposals in compliance with the requirements of the funding source.

  • Submit draft proposals to the FarmSahel Executive Director for approval.

  • Create grant and funding deadlines calendar.

  • Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.

 

Skills

 

  • Excellent research, writing and communications skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Drive & Google Sheets.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

 

The intern will be working remotely, and the hours are flexible. We are looking for someone who can commit to 10 hours a week.

 

This internship offers a $150 monthly stipend, and training in grant writing. This is a 6-month internship and an excellent opportunity to apply your passion for international development while learning about non-profit grant writing.
